That means by the end of the year, you’ll need to be capturing and reporting all the information required to be EVV compliant for these procedures, or you’ll risk slowing down or forfeiting payments.

What is EVV?

EVV stands for Electronic Visit Verification and is required for compliance with the Cures Act. It requires 6 key pieces of information to be captured for each visit you and your team undertake: the date of service, location of service, name of the patient, name of the individual providing the service and the start and end time of the service. We’ve put together an intro to EVV if you would like more information. Check it out here!
